I feel sad that this was the only picture I got. The battery ran out in my camera at such an unfortunate time.
In this picture Luke is giving his testimony. He did a great job. Pastor Don baptised him. He is the same pastor who did Grace's funeral. He has sure played an important role in our lives this year.
When asked how he felt now after baptism Luke said, "It feels good to do something in obedience. I feel good about it...it just may not show very much on the outside."
This weekend as Luke was at his track meet all day Saturday I finished painting the blue room, cleaned the house, and put up some pictures. Here are some photos. I am not nearly finished, and I'm trying to figure out how to arrange the willows in the vase, but I did promise some friends pictures, so here they are.

I NEED to see you again. I started a letter to send out to you, but alas, it has not gotten there.
I'm bringing Luke to Des Moines in July to the airport. He's flying to ROME! I'm planning on looking you up when I'm there. It's sometime around July 9. Save me some time!
Will do Deb! Wow, ROME? Why is he going there without you? That's really crazy. Good for him. Yes, we must get some time together! :) Whenever you finish the letter - send it to me. No problem!
Deb - the art looks fantastic! Was so good to see you and hope we can see each other again soon! PS...okay, I have a question...you'll have to explain to me the "second baptism" thing. I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around it theologically...'cause didn't you say Luke had already been baptised?? I'm confused.
We're so happy for Luke! What a very special step. Also your painting and decorating looks really nice, Deb. I haven't seen the cat tail picture before, and it is so pretty!
